TEHRAN – Iran defies the United States by supplying gasoline to Venezuela, despite sanctions. The first of a total of five tankers docked on Monday in a port of the South American country, which is also the target of US sanctions. A risky operation, but one that gives Iran a foothold in the backyard of the United States.
