TEHRAN (AP) — The Iranian supreme leader’s website posted an animated video in which a robot appears to order a drone strike to assassinate former U.S. President Donald Trump.
The animated video was part of a contest to remember the assassination of Iranian general Qassem Soleimani by a US drone in Baghdad on January 3, 2020.
The video, which appeared Wednesday on the website of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s office, appears to show Trump playing golf at his Mar-a-Lago, Florida, property when he is attacked by a drone.
A propaganda poster last year showed Trump on the golf course and a caption calling for revenge for Soleimani’s assassination.
Days ago, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi demanded that Trump be “prosecuted and killed.”
“If not, I say to all American leaders that the hand of revenge will come out of umma’s sleeves,” Raisi said. Ummah is the world community of Muslims.
