JAKARTA, DISWAY.ID – A hacker group claiming to be from Iran called Handala disrupted Israel’s Iron Dome radar system, and sent hundreds of thousands of threatening text messages to Israeli citizens.
Handala is known for targeting Israeli interests in the past, and has carried out cyberattacks against Israeli government and private sector websites.
The group claimed to have infiltrated radar systems and sent 500,000 text messages to Israeli citizens.

Amid rising tensions regarding a potential Iranian attack, Handala published a statement on social networks, stating that they had penetrated Israel’s radar defenses.
The announcement, shared via Telegram, did not provide any details but emphasized the significant success, which could potentially damage Israel’s national security.
“You only have a few hours to repair the radar system,” the attackers repeated their message, quoted by the Jerusalem Post, Sunday 14 April 2024.
This group has also sent thousands of SMS to Israeli citizens in a threatening tone.

Additionally, the group claims to have sent 500,000 text messages to Israeli citizens, urging them to oppose their government and support Iran. These messages also contain threats against Israel.
“Society will pay the price for the crimes and stupidity of your leaders. There is no doubt that your leaders will regret this foolish action,” Handala’s message said.
Handala also said, evacuate the cities, maybe the damage you experience will be reduced!.
“Don’t hesitate and don’t sleep, the chance to escape is less than ten seconds, and maybe your city will be chosen,” continued Handala’s message.
