The Iranian climber became famous all over the world last October, when she climbed without a veil at the Asian Championships in Seoul. Since then the Iranian woman has been under house arrest and her repression against and against her continues: according to the latest media reports, the Iranian regime destroyed her family home.
A video showing a destroyed house in Zanjan province in northwestern Iran has been circulating on social media. According to news platform Iranwire, this house, or what’s left of it, is the family home of 33-year-old mountaineer Elnaz Rekabi.

Authorities do not deny the destruction of the house, but deny any connection to Rekabi’s performance in Seoul. According to the state news agency Tasmin the house was built illegally and then demolished in June of this year.
