Tehran –
Iran they will hold nuclear talks on Palestinian and Lebanese issues in the coming days. Iran will talk with France, Germany and Great Britain, which countries started the resolution criticizing Iran that the UN atomic watchdog accepted.
The spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministry, Esmaeil Baghaei, said that a meeting of the deputy foreign ministers of Iran, France, Germany and Great Britain would be held on Friday (29/11). The meeting place of the four countries has not yet been announced.
“A variety of regional and international issues and topics will be discussed, including Palestinian and Lebanese issues, as well as the nuclear issue,” the spokesman said in a foreign ministry statement.

CHECK TO CONTINUE WITH INDEX
Baghaei described the upcoming meeting as a continuation of discussions held by the countries in September on the sidelines of the annual session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
On Thursday, the 35-member board of governors of the UN’s International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) adopted a resolution criticizing Iran for what it called a lack of cooperation.
The move comes as tensions rise over Iran’s nuclear program, which has sparked fears that it is aiming to develop nuclear weapons – something Tehran has denied. – again.
It also comes after the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, returned from a trip to Tehran, where he appeared to have made progress.
During the visit, Iran agreed to an IAEA request to limit its stockpiles of sensitive, near-weapons-grade uranium to 60 percent purity.
In response to the resolution, Iran announced the launch of “a series of new and advanced centrifuges”.
The centrifuge enriches the uranium turned into a gas by spinning it at very high speeds, thus increasing the proportion of fissile isotope material (U-235).
“We will greatly increase our enrichment capacity by using various types of advanced devices,” Behrouz Kamalvandi, a spokesman for Iran’s atomic energy agency, told state TV.
However, the country also said it intended to continue “technical and safeguard cooperation with the IAEA”.
Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian, who has been in power since July and is a supporter of dialogue with Western countries, said he wanted to eliminate “doubt and uncertainty” about his country’s nuclear program .
It is known that from 2021, Tehran has reduced its cooperation with the IAEA by turning off monitoring equipment that monitors its nuclear program and banning UN inspectors.
Meanwhile, Iran has increased its stockpile of enriched uranium and its enrichment rate by 60 percent.
According to the IAEA, the level is close to the 90 percent-plus threshold required for a nuclear warhead, and much higher than the 3.67 percent limit agreed in 2015.
