Ali Bagheri, assistant foreign minister of Iran for political affairs, said in a press interview during his visit to India on Thursday that “Mahsa Amini was not killed, but he is dead.”
He accused Western countries of stirring up the atmosphere during the protests that took place in Iran after the death of Mahsa Amini.
He added: “At a time when the West is working to stir up tensions in Iran, everyone knows that Western powers are violating the rights of the Iranian people.”
