“The enemy will know what Iran’s strength is. “The army will decide the time and place of retaliation,” the Iranian president said. Meanwhile, IS has claimed responsibility for the twin blasts. Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi told national television that a few people had been arrested in connection with the incident.
Deputy Interior Minister Majid Mir Ahmadi said that those who helped the explosion were arrested from five cities and more details will be given later. The first report was that 103 people were killed in the blast. Authorities have now confirmed that 89 people were killed and 28 injured.
