President Ebrahim Raisi threatened to raze Tel Aviv City and Haifa responded to the Prime Minister Israel, Benjamin Netanyahuwhich mentions Iran like a modern version of Nazi Germany.
“The enemies, in particular the Zionist regime, have received the message that any small action against the state [kami] will elicit a strong response from the armed forces, which will accompany the destruction of Haifa and Tel Aviv,” Raisi was quoted as saying The Times of IsraelTuesday (18/4).
Raisi’s remarks came after Netanyahu on Monday likened Iran to Nazi Germany as an entity that is currently threatening the existence of Jews.
According to Netanyahu, Iran is the successor of the Nazis who want to exterminate the Jews. However, he emphasized that past wins do not guarantee future wins.
Therefore, according to him, Israel must be able to “defend itself by its own strength against any enemy, and any threat.”
During the celebration of the Iranian Army Day, Raisi also threatened to destroy the two major cities of the Zionist State for their every action, even if it was small.
On that occasion, Raisi also reiterated his request for the United States to leave the Middle East immediately.
He also conveyed peace signs with Saudi Arabia, although he did not explicitly mention the Riyadh government.
“The hand of our armed forces warmly shakes the hands of regional countries who intend to create security in the region,” said Raisi.
In March, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to reconcile after seven years of separation. The agreement was reached thanks to the help of Chinese mediation.
Since normalization, the Saudis have even agreed to exchange prisoners with Yemen’s Houthi rebels, an Iran-backed group in Yemen. Saudi hopes to end the proxy war between the two countries in the region.
