Iran: Tehran is ready for any Israeli attack, according to Iranian Foreign Minister Aragchi –

Commitments that no country in the region will grant the use of land or airspace to launch an attack against Iran by Israel made it known that he received during his regional mini-tour Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

Since launching a retaliatory barrage for the assassinations of Hassan Nasrallah and Ismail Haniya with 200 ballistic missiles against Israel on October 1, Tehran has begun preparations in case the Israeli leadership carries out its threats and eventually attacks Iranian territory.

“All our neighbors have assured us that they will not allow their territory or airspace to be used against the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Abbas said during a press conference from Kuwait.

The Iranian minister’s visit to Kuwait comes as Israel, which is at war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Hezbollah in Lebanon – two movements backed by Tehran – continues to warn that it will respond to the Iranian attack.

Before Kuwait, Araghchi was in Bahrain yesterday, Monday, as part of his regional tour, which has taken him to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Iraq, Egypt and Turkey.

“We closely monitor the movements of the American bases in the region and are informed of all their flights and movements,” Aragchi stressed, clarifying that “if Israel attacks Iran in any way, Iran will respond accordingly.”

The US, Israel’s closest ally, has military infrastructure throughout the region, mainly in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Aragchi also reiterated Iranian warnings against a possible Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities: “an attack on nuclear facilities is a serious international crime, even the threat of an attack is a crime,” he explained.

“To defend ourselves, as well as our nuclear facilities, we have our own tools and methods, which we rely on,” the Iranian minister underlined.
