Revolutionary Guards ban communications devices after Hezbollah strike, according to Reuters.
In particular, all its members were ordered to stop using all communication devices after the explosion of thousands of buzzers and radios in Lebanon.
One of the security officials told Reuters that a major operation was underway to inspect all the devices. He noted that most of these devices were either home-made or imported from China and Russia.
Concerns have been expressed in Iran about possible infiltration by Israeli agents, including Iranians on Israel’s payroll. A thorough personnel search has already begun, targeting mid- and high-ranking members of the Revolutionary Guards.
“The process includes checking their bank accounts both in Iran and abroad, as well as their travel history and that of their families,” the security official said.
