Iran returns to hanging protesters over Mahsa Amini’s death

Authority Iran Return hanged a protester tied up at a rally to protest the deaths Mahsa Amini which has expanded into anti-government protests. This protester was found guilty of homocide two members of the Iranian security forces.

As reported ReutersOn Monday (12/12/2022), this protester became the second protester executed by Tehran in less than a week in connection with the protest over Amini’s death.

Widespread nationwide protests have taken place in Iran over the past three months, initially sparked by the death of Amini, 22, last September or days after she was arrested by morality police on suspicion of violating hijab rules.

Demonstrations protested Amini’s death it turned into a protest by Iranians from all walks of life angry at the government, which posed one of the worst legitimacy challenges to the clerical leadership since the 1979 revolution.

“Majid Reza Rahnavard was publicly hanged in (the holy city) Mashahd this morning… he was sentenced to death for ‘warring God’ after stabbing to death two members of the security forces,” the Iranian Judiciary News Agency, Libra.

Iranian state media showed footage showing a man, identified as Ravanard, stabbing a man who had fallen onto a parked motorcycle and stabbing another person shortly after.

Report Libra he said Rahnavard was arrested while trying to flee Iran about 23 days ago. The death sentence passed against Rahnavard was upheld by a higher court.
