Iran plans to attack Israel in mid-August

The publication writes that Western intelligence sources told Sky News Arabia that they have evidence that Iran plans to attack Israel on Tisha B’av, which falls on August 12 and 13 this year. The Iranian attack will be carried out in response to the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.

It is also reported that the Iranian attack is likely to be coordinated by Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed terrorist group based in Lebanon.

In addition, it is noted that an attack on Israel on a holy day can have an emotional and psychological impact on Israelis.

Note that Tisha B’av is one of the saddest days in the European calendar. It is a day of national mourning, dedicated to the memory of the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem.
