According to media reports, Saudi Arabia has already shared its information on the plans of the Iranian authorities with the United States. States bordering Iran have raised the alarm level for their military.
The White House National Security Council said it was concerned about the warnings and is ready to respond if Iran launches an attack.
“We are concerned about the threat picture and remain in constant contact through military and intelligence channels with Saudi Arabia. We will not hesitate to act in defense of our interests and partners in the region,” the official said.
