Iran fired 16 ballistic missiles at the close of its five-day war games, which Tehran’s generals said was a warning to its arch-foe; Israel.
“This exercise is designed to respond to threats made in recent days by the Zionist regime,” the chief of staff of Iran’s armed forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri told state television.
“Sixteen missiles target and destroy selected targets. In this exercise, some of the hundreds of Iranian missiles capable of destroying a country that dared to attack Iran were deployed,” he said.
