Iran Blames Israel for Sabotage of Nuclear Facilities, Claims Minor Damage

TEHERAN – Sabotage attempts at nuclear facilities Iran in June caused minor damage to one building but no damage to equipment.

The statement was made by the Iranian government on Tuesday (6/7). Tehran blamed Israel for the attack.

“Satellite images showing the missing roof were taken while the building was being repaired,” Iranian government spokesman Ali Rabiei told a news conference carried by state media.

“We didn’t experience any equipment damage. There was minor damage to the roof and (satellite) pictures were taken of the roof being dismantled for repairs,” Rabiei said, according to the official IRNA news agency.
