Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO announced that it will hold a new product announcement event in China at 7:00 pm on the 23rd.
At this event, the latest ‘Neo 8’ series will be unveiled. The Neo 8 series consists of ▲Neo 8 ▲Neo 8 Pro models. Among them, the Pro model will be equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ chip recently unveiled by MediaTek for the first time.
The ‘Dimensity 9200+’ chipset is an improved version of the Dimensity 9200 chipset released last year, and is manufactured with the same TSMC second-generation 4-nano (N4P) process, but features upgraded CPU and GPU.
Previously leaked benchmarks showed performance ahead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 2nd generation chips. In addition, the Neo 8 Pro model is known to have specifications such as ▲120Hz display ▲16GB LPDDR5x RAM ▲512GB UFS 4.0 storage ▲Android 13 operating system.
