The iQOO 11 series in addition to its members, a cheaper device from Vivo’s sub-brand has arrived, called the iQOO Neo 7 SE. Inside, the recently unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset hums and the battery that ensures its mobility is compatible with 120-watt fast charging. Furthermore, the Chinese manufacturer has matched the attractive features with a very friendly price, which we hope will bring the device to the international arena as well.
Under the cover of the new smartphone, the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset rumbles, which is a high-performance chipset made in a 4-nanometer manufacturing process, with a higher clock frequency (3.1 GHz) Cortex-A78 core.
Beyond that, there are three additional Cortex-A78 cores, these run at 3.0 GHz, and in another cluster, four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores operate at 2.0 GHz. In addition to the chipset, the Neo 7 SE offers 8, 12 or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128, 256 or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, depending on configuration.
The new Dimensity chipset covers the 6.78-inch AMOLED display, the panel resolution is Full HD+ and the image refresh rate is 120Hz. In a cutout under the top bezel of the screen, we can find the front camera, which is 16 megapixels. On the back is a 64-megapixel primary imager, which is supported by a 2-megapixel macro and also a 2-megapixel depth sensor when taking photos.
The iQOO Neo 7 SE runs Android 13, integrated by Origin OS 3. The hardware components are powered by a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which supports the 120 watt fast charge already mentioned in the introduction. Standout features include the under-display fingerprint reader, as well as NFC and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity options.
The iQOO Neo 7 SE will be available in blue, black and gradient colors. The cheapest configuration with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will cost just $301, which equates to just HUF 119,000. At the same time, the more expensive 12/512GB variant costs no more than US$415, or HUF 164,000. The distribution of the smartphone has already begun, so far there has been no talk of global sales, but one can always hope.
