iQOO Launches Neo 8 Series, Pad with Dimensity 9000+ and TWS Air Pro Earphones with ANC

iQOO a statement iQOO Neo 8 Series today, and shared the stage with the new iQOO Pad and iQOO TWS Air Pro wireless earbuds. The first is the company’s long-awaited tablet which comes as a refurbished Vivo Pad 2 with Dimensity 9000+. The new earbuds offer an immersive audio experience that promises up to 30 hours of battery life with the charging case.

iQOO panel specifications

As we said before, the iQOO Pad is a rebranded Vivo Pad2. The main difference is the powerful Dimensity 9000+ which offers a slight edge over the vanilla Dimensity 9000+ on the Vivo tablet. Aside from the extra horsepower, all the specs are the same, even OriginOS 3 running on iQOO’s first tablet. However, the iQOO panel comes with a huge 12.1-inch IPS LCD screen with 2880 x 1800 pixels and 144Hz refresh rate. One notable feature is the 7:5 aspect ratio which is suitable for more vertical content. The front also has an 8MP camera that offers decent quality for video calls.

Moving to the back, we have a 13MP macro camera and a 2MP macro camera. The camera design is the same as on the Vivo Pad 2. The device is very thin at just 6.59mm thick. Under the hood, we have the above mentioned dimensions 9000+. It comes in 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM versions. Storage-wise, we have 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB options.

The tablet offers support for the iQOO Pencil, and we assume it also supports the Vivo keyboard case. The tablet draws its power from a massive 10,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.

The iQOO Pad starts at CNY 2,299 ($326) for the option with 8GB/128GB. The price comes to CNY 3,299 ($468) when you’re looking for the higher-end 12GB/512GB variant. The devices will start sales on May 31 and have one gray color option. At the moment, there is no word on global availability.

iQOO TWS Air Pro earphones

The company also unveiled new earphones for those who want a full audio experience. The earbuds come with an IP54 water and splash resistance rating, dual pairing, and Find My Earbuds functionality. Of course, for a brand that pays special attention to gaming, the new earbuds come with a low-latency gaming mode. TWS Air Pro brings 14.2mm drivers, ANC, and offers up to 30 hours of battery life combined with the charging case. They support Bluetooth 5.3 and have AAC and SBC codecs.

TWS Air Pro is available in White and Black/Yellow color options. It retails for CNY 269 ($38), and you’ll be able to find it to order on May 31. It is a very attractive price for earphones that come with active noise cancellation. We hope it will be widely available in the near future.
