KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Bukalapak has officially started the public offering period. This process also confirmed Bukalapak’s initial public offering (IPO) with the largest value in history on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Previously, KONTAN obtained information if Bukalapak used the IPO exercise price at the upper limit. Bukalapak management confirmed this.
“Bukalapak offers 25.76 billion shares at an offering price of Rp. 850 per share,” Bukalapak management wrote in an official statement received by KONTAN, Tuesday (27/7).

With the IPO price, Bukalapak will reap fresh funds of around Rp. 21.9 trillion. Bukalapak will use the stock code BUKA.
The previous record value of the IPO was held by PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) with a value of Rp 11.2 trillion.
Around 66% of Bukalapak’s IPO funds will be used as working capital. Then, the rest will be used for working capital for a number of Bukalapak subsidiaries.
In detail, about 15% is allocated for PT Buka Mitra Indonesia and about 15% for PT Buka Usaha Indonesia. Meanwhile, 1% each will be allocated to Open Joint Investment, Open Procurement Indonesia, Bukalapak Pte Ltd, and Five Jack.
