There is good news for iPhone users. With the latest update from Apple iOS 16, this smartphone is likely to collaborate with Nintendo Switch. The plan is to add a Joy-Con Nintendo Switch joystick to the popular device. So that smartphone users can play maximum games with the controller.
This was reported by the application developer, Riley Testut (via Nintendo Everything). The plan is to pair one or two of the Joy-Cons to the iOS 16 device via bluetooth.
1. Not the first time Apple has supported Nintendo hardware
Actually this is not the first time Apple has supported Nintendo hardware. According to one Twitter user with the username ShinyQuagsire, macOS 12 also apparently supports native drivers for Nintendo Switch Pro on the computer.
“They actually started this back in macOS 12, for some reason, I can’t find anyone commenting on it at the time,” he wrote.
Actually every Nintendo Switch game will come to the mobile platform. This is the newest way to play iOS games. Previously, iOS itself already supported PlayStation and Xbox controllers via Bluetooth.
