Twitter announced adding a new feature called GIF for users with iOS devices.
The platform will allow users to record their own GIFs directly through the app.
The launch of this new feature was immediately announced by Twitter via the Twitter Support account on Wednesday (23/3/2022).
GIF is a Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) which is a simple animated graphic that users often use for website design purposes.
This feature has indeed become one of the mainstay content on Twitter, including to enliven a thread and give reactions to other users.
“Okay we know GIFs aren’t new, but what’s new is the option to take your own GIF using your camera for iOS users,” Twitter said.
