Recent reports have revealed that Apple is working on an affordable iPhone SE 4 smartphone, as rumors indicate that the smartphone may include features of the recently introduced iPhone 14 series and Apple is expected to launch iPhone SE 4 in 2024, but exactly the plan is currently not the we know.
A recent online leak has revealed that the upcoming iPhone SE 4 may have a 6.1-inch LCD screen with a notch in the center and also indicates that the iPhone SE 4 may not have Face ID and may continue with Touch ID.
Another online report claims that the iPhone SE 4 will look like the iPhone XR. It also means that Apple will finally ditch the old iPhone 8 form factor and the thick bezels and good old Home button will be removed from the upcoming iPhone SE 4.
In terms of chipsets, the iPhone SE has always received the best that Apple has to offer, for example, the current iPhone SE model is powered by the A15 Bionic chipset, which also powers the iPhone 15 series.
However, according to rumors circulating that the upcoming iPhone 14 will survive on the previous generation chip, Apple is unlikely to introduce the latest chip with the iPhone SE 4, in the iPhone 14 Pro models, and rumors also indicate that Apple may include the same chips in the iPhone 15 models, the standard version is expected to be released next year.
The available iPhone SE smartphone already comes with 5G support, so it is very likely that the next generation smartphone will also come with 5G connectivity.
