JAKARTA – A number of Android and iOS users will no longer be able to use WhatsApp starting November 1, 2021. This includes iPhone SE (2016 edition), iPhone 6S, and iPhone 6S Plus users.
Why? This is actually nothing new. The app company is discontinuing support for certain devices because the operating system can no longer support the new features. The reason is simple, because it’s been too long.

WhatsApp restricts their devices to only work on iPhone iOS 10 and above.
“We recommend using the latest version of iOS on your phone,” reads Apple’s official website. “We do not explicitly prohibit the use of jailbrake or unlocked phones. However, because this modification will affect the functionality of the phone, we cannot provide support for the modified iPhone OS.”
iPhone 6 itself was first released in 2014 or 7 years ago. That is, the users are still there and you could say there are still many.
Since it is no longer possible to upgrade to the latest OS, there is no other safe solution for iPhone 6 users to switch to a newer phone.
Are iPhone SE, 6S, and 6S Plus still sold in Indonesia? The answer is, still. The price is like an entry-level cell phone. If you are interested in using the iPhone iPhone SE, 6S, and 6S Plus without being able to use WhatsApp, here are the prices and specifications:
