Starting with the iOS 14 update, this app appeared on iPhones. But it is invisible on home screens.
This is “Scan code” to scan QRs, such as menus in restaurants for example. To find it, type the name of the app in the search bar, swiping down slightly from the middle of the screen.
If the camera already had the function to scan QR codes, this application contains slight differences. Indeed, once the code is scanned, the page opens in a separate application and not in Safari. Once the tool is closed, the web page closes automatically. This does not clutter its history of pages visited.
