Apple has decided to review its notification summary system to make it more readable and accessible.
When it was released on September 20, iOS 15 brought a number of new features to Apple devices. Among these was the summary of notifications. It allows less important notifications to be grouped into a single block accessible from the lock screen. This feature allows you to reduce the number of notifications displayed on the screen, to focus only on the most important.
A month after its release, Apple is already making changes to these summaries. These changes were made in the beta version of iOS 15.2 released on October 27. In the initial version, the notifications were grouped into a single block. Now, less important notifications will be grouped into separate categories on the lock screen.
It will be possible to press the notification summary block to see different bubbles whose colors will vary according to the applications: blue for Facebook, yellow for Snapchat, etc.
This version 15.2 also brings new security measures, such as the application privacy report. This allows you to accurately determine which applications, native or third-party, access the data on your device.
No date has yet been communicated regarding the arrival of iOS 15.2 for the general public, but it is a minor update, so it should be available soon.
