From the release of the new line iPhone 15 has not even been two months, but Apple is already working on the concept of a new smartphone, the iPhone 16, which will be presented next fall.

A designer under the nickname UPintheOZONE presented the concept of the next iPhone. The author believes that the new iPhone is capable of revolutionizing the design and functionality of smartphones. The new iPhone 16 concept allows for a design similar to the iPhone 11 and 12, but with support for Pro features, including a LiDAR scanner.
Thus, the new iPhone 16 concept shows a changed camera location for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, as well as a LiDAR scanner and an action button.
“We expect significant changes to the iPhone 16 line-up next year. While the Pro models will be the main entry point, the company will also ensure that the standard models receive significant upgrades. The latest iPhone 16 concept developed by user X@upintheozone shows the back and front of the phone, which is expected to be presented in September 2024,” the publication writes.
The LiDAR sensor allows you to capture spatial video, capturing the depth of objects and people in the frame – such content can be viewed through the Apple Vision Pro headset. The arrival of LiDAR in regular iPhone 16 models could significantly expand the augmented reality experience for a wide range of users.
The iPhone 16 concept also features a feature for shortcut lovers – the Action button. You can assign one of nine scenarios to it; through automation, almost any action. For now, only iPhone 15 Pro models feature an Action button.
In addition to hardware, Apple is also working on introducing AI features into iOS 18. With new hardware and software updates, the iPhone 16 will better compete with its “Pro” devices.
