LIVE Techno – The iPhone 16 series that will debut next year is starting to make headlines. According to the Digital Chat Station report on Weibo, the iPhone 16 Pro Max may come with a super telephoto periscope camera to increase the optical zoom on the cellphone.
The report states that cameras with focal lengths longer than 300mm are usually labeled ‘super’ or ‘ultra’ telephoto due to their ability to zoom in and capture distant subjects.
Quoting from the Live Mint site, Friday, July 21 2023, if you remember the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro models, both telephoto cameras have a focal length equivalent to 77mm.
If the iPhone 16 Pro Max displays a focal length exceeding 300mm, it will show a substantial and significant improvement.
As per a MacRumours report, Weibo users have restated their previous statement that the iPhone 16 Pro Max will come with a 12 percent larger camera sensor, measuring 1/1.14 inch.
In comparison, the current iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max feature a 1/1.28-inch sensor, and no increase in sensor size is expected for this year’s iPhone 15 Pro Max.
