iPhone 16 Launch Date Revealed: Major Upgrades and Price Cuts for iPhone 15 Series

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Apple is rumored to launch the latest iPhone 16 series on September 10, 2024. This series is expected to bring major improvements.

One of them is the integration of the artificial intelligence system ‘Apple Intelligence’ which was first introduced at WWDC in June 2024.

In the midst of declining iPhone sales, especially in China as Apple’s third largest market, the iPhone 16 is a great hope to boost Apple’s cell phone business again.

Based on the analysis of CNBC Indonesia, Monday (26/8/2024), the prices of the old iPhone series have been falling for some time. Of course, price cuts have also been made for the relatively new 2023 iPhone 15 series.

There are more significant drops for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Here are the latest prices for the iPhone 15 series in Indonesia, quoted from the iBox page:

The iPhone 15 series brings several improvements from the iPhone 14. For example, the ‘Dynamic Island’ feature is now available for all variants. In addition, a USB-C port for charging has replaced the Lightning port.

For the Pro version, users will get a cell phone made of military-grade titanium material. This material is lighter and more durable than stainless steel, which has been Apple’s mainstay.
