If users of the new iPhones set the volume of the headphone speaker to maximum, they will hear an unpleasant rattling sound. However, the same thing happens when listening to music, if the volume is above about 80 percent. Or a low-quality spoken word is enough, and the sibilants will sound very “unpleasant”.
The speakers on some iPhone 15s make annoying crackling noises at higher volumes. It is not yet clear if this is a software or hardware issue. However, even freshly exchanged phones have the same symptoms…
However, some users of the new iPhones confirm that their speakers rattle even at lower volume levels. One user even had his iPhone Pro Max replaced with a new one twice, but all three phones had the exact same symptoms. The problem is not limited to the iPhone 15 Pro Max
…and not only for him. One of the American content creators confirmed that he has seven iPhone 15s with the same “quality” of speakers in his neighborhood. However, it is not just the top-of-the-line Pro Max, but also other phones in the range, with the basic iPhone 15 reportedly the least significantly affected by this bug.
