Apple is expected to start mass production of the iPhone 15 series in August 2023. Technology analysts have leaked, specifically for the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have exclusive features not available in the iPhone 15 Pro series.
Launching GSM Arena, Haitong International Technology Analyst Jeff Pu assesses that the company remains on the initial schedule to produce 84 million iPhone units by the end of 2023. This number is 12% more than the production of iPhone 14 devices for the same period last year.
According to Pu, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have exclusive features that are not available on the iPhone 15 Pro.
Apple is predicted to equip the iPhone 15 Pro Max with a periscope lens for a telephoto camera that will expand the optical zoom.
Rumors also imply the battery as a whole will have a larger capacity. This causes the smartphone series to be thicker in size.
Analysts also estimate that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will have a higher selling price than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, starting at US$ 1,009 or around Rp. 16.6 million in the United States. While in Europe it will be around the level of 1,449 euros.
Apple has yet to schedule an official launch of the iPhone 15 but, as is tradition, it is expected to be in early September.
