Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Three cell phones from the iPhone 15 series are in the top position of best-selling cell phones worldwide in the third quarter of 2024. The regular version of the iPhone 15 is the best seller on the list from Counterpoint Research.
The iPhone 14 is also another Apple cell phone in the top 10. The cell phone, released two years ago, is rated 8.
Counterpoint explained that half of iPhone sales during that period were contributed by the Pro version. This helps Apple to drive device sales at higher prices.
iPhone sales, especially in developing markets, also helped. Funding schemes and trade-in offers also make tools more accessible to all organisations.
In the same report, Samsung gave away five cell phones. The Galaxy S24 flagship phone ranks 10th on the list.
Meanwhile the other four are the Galaxy A15 4G (4th), Galaxy A15 5G (5th), Galaxy A35 5G (6th), and Galaxy A05 (7th).
One Xiaomi mobile phone is also in the list of top 10 best selling cell phones in the world. Redmi 13C 4G is rated 9.
The year before, the iPhone also dominated the top 10 best-selling mobile phones. There are four iPhone phones in the top four of the list.
For the season 3-2023, the iPhone 14 leads the list. Next is the iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13.
