Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – A seasoned analyst from TF International, Ming-Chi Kuo, predicts that public demand for the iPhone 15 series will be smaller than the iPhone 14 series. For information, Kuo has so far been one of the most trusted analysts who focus on discussing Apple products.
However, Kuo did not explain in more detail about the factors that caused the iPhone 15 not to become the iPhone 14 on the market. One of the assumptions circulating is related to Apple’s plan to increase the price by up to US$ 200 for the Pro and Pro Max variants.
According to rumors circulating, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will embed a camera with a periscope lens. As a result, users can do optical zoom up to 5-6x. This is a pretty big increase from the previous 3x on the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Another improvement that is busy being discussed is related to more capable battery capacity and performance, quoted from PhoneArena, Thursday (3/8/2023). In addition, the Pro model will also be equipped with the first 3nm manufacturing chipset.
For the regular iPhone 15 line, the improvement is seen in the availability of the ‘Dynamic Island’ premium feature. Previously, this feature was exclusive to the Pro model. The camera is also said to be upgraded to 48MP resolution.
Finally, leaks on the internet say that Apple has finally given in to comply with European Union rules by using a USB-C port, just like an Android cellphone. If true, this marks a new history of letting the Lightning port out of Apple’s mobile device ecosystem.
Some analysts also predict Apple will bring more seamless integration into artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
These leaks have not been confirmed directly by Apple. The iPhone 15 series itself is getting closer to its launch schedule which is predicted around September. We’ll wait!
