JAKARTA (RIAUPOS.CO) – The mystery regarding the iPhone 15 series has finally been revealed. Smartphone The new high-end from Apple comes with some interesting features including finally having a USB Type-C port and the new Apple A17 Bionic being built on the 3nm process.

Code related to the feature was spotted in iOS 17 RC. It’s a welcome move by Apple if the feature comes to the iPhone 15. It won’t just help improve battery health if you charge the battery overnight.

It is known that Apple’s operating system or OS for its cellphones, namely iOS, always warns users when the battery level reaches 100 percent. But its inability to limit charging always felt like a drag.

With the iPhone 15, this feature will be a boon for users who are concerned about battery health or prefer to charge overnight. The goal is clear, to be safe and not damage the battery in the long term overcharging.

Apart from that, macOS, Apple’s operating system specifically for its computer devices, also offers battery limitations through third-party applications. However, it is still doubtful how effective the utility will be on macOS.

Limiting full charge is a tactic followed by some companies that slows down the degradation of Lithium battery cells. Some experts even suggest limiting battery power if you always leave the charger plugged in.
