The iPhone 15 Pro series is expected to use the new A17 Bionic chip. Recently, some details of this chip have been exposed, which makes users think it is worth upgrading.
The A17 Bionic chip that will be used in the iPhone 15 Pro series will use the new TSMC 3nm process, which is able to place more wafers on the same area of the chip, thus improving performance and reducing power consumption. Compared with 5nm chips, the power consumption of 3nm chips can be reduced by 35%, which can greatly improve the battery life of iPhone 15 Pro system.
Of the iPhones expected to launch next year, only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra are expected to use the A17 Bionic chip, while the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus may only use the A16 Bionic chip to make up the difference.
