RADARSOLO.COM – An unexpected incident was experienced by iPhone 15 Pro Max users because they used a cheap data cable for charging.
Noisily Marvelous shared his experience when using a cheap, aka unlicensed, data cable, his iPhone 15 Pro Max became hot and damaged. Even his fingers were burned.
The incident started when he bought an iPhone 15 Pro Max for IDR 20 million. Unfortunately, he actually used accessories in the form of cheap data cables.

The cable melted when used for charging. His iPhone 15 Pro Max was damaged.
“I know the iPhone 15 Pro Max gets hot. “But after using it for a month, my iPhone got so hot when charging overnight that it actually left burns on my fingers,” said Noisily in his upload, reported by JawaPos.com.
“When I removed the charger, part of the plastic melted, leaving burn marks on the body and the metal part of the USB-C port got stuck in the phone,” he added.
Due to this incident, he also advised iPhone users to use official Apple accessories.

Or at the very least, choose products from official Apple partners that have passed the company’s quality control tests.
Previously, Apple published a document warning customers not to use uncertified Apple Watch chargers or chargers.
Careless use of accessories can have serious consequences for the device. Such as causing slow charging and repeated warning sounds.
Even worst, it can reduce battery life.
