“iPhone 15 Pro Max to Feature Apple’s First Periscope Lens: Rumors and Reports”

If you’re looking for the latest rumors about the iPhone 15 Pro Max and its potential camera capabilities, then look no further. According to reports, Apple is rumored to be bringing its first-ever periscope lens to the upcoming device, which could allow for up to double the optical zoom.

This would put Apple in direct competition with other smartphone manufacturers who are already offering periscope capabilities on their devices. For example, Samsung’s Galaxy S22 Ultra offers up to 10x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.

While rumors and reports have suggested that the periscope lens will be limited to the largest 6.7-inch iPhone 15 Pro Max, it’s also been reported that this feature could expand to both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max in 2024.

Respected industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo was the first to suggest that Apple could make its new periscope camera capabilities exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max late last year.

For those interested in the design of the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro, leaked CAD files were recently turned into renders. These give us our first look at what to expect from the new devices, including USB-C support and a new curve design for the Pro series, updated volume controls, and more.
