iPhone 15 Pro Max Surpasses Competitors in Camera Tests: DxOMark Results

The iPhone 15 Pro Max has outperformed almost all its competitors in camera tests conducted by DxOMark.

Apple has recently released its new smartphone, the iPhone 15 series. One thing that is quite surprising, several reports say that the highest series of this latest iPhone, namely the iPhone 15 Pro Max, has a fairly serious overheating problem.

Even though Apple may be looking for a solution, this smartphone apparently also made a surprise in the embedded camera sector. Yes! The iPhone 15 Pro Max has outperformed almost all its competitors in camera tests conducted by DxOMark.

You should note that overall the iPhone 15 Pro Max is in second place, right behind the Huawei P60 Pro. Nonetheless, DxOMark notes that the iPhone 15 Pro Max stands out as the device with the best performance in certain camera categories.

According to the DxOMark test results, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is very good at making photos look bright and sharp, especially on the HDR screen. Even in low light situations, this camera is able to keep photos balanced and not too dark or too bright.

The colors, especially when it comes to skin tones, look good and natural. When there is a lot of light, the camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max is able to capture a lot of detail, so users can see everything clearly.

DxOMark also assesses that the highest iPhone 15 series has autofocus that is not only fast, but also accurate, and capable of producing sharp images. Apart from that, the videos produced by this smartphone also look very stable.

On the downside, in dim or low-light conditions, users may see some graininess in the photo. Obviously, this will be a bit disappointing for iPhone 15 Pro Max users. Sometimes, there are also unwanted things like double images in photos.

It works well in good lighting, but when there is a big difference between the light and dark parts of a scene, it can struggle a bit. Additionally, the level of detail may vary as the user zooms in, so it may not meet their expectations.

However, in tests conducted by DxOMark, the iPhone 15 Pro Max was able to achieve a total score of 154 points, much better than the iPhone 14 Pro Max which currently sits in 9th position with a total score of 146 points. Yes! 8 points difference.

Even though the iPhone 15 Pro Max is not able to outperform the Huawei P60 Pro, the smartphone has become a leader when it comes to Bokeh and Video modes. So, are you increasingly interested in owning an iPhone 15 Pro Max? In the American market, this smartphone is sold starting at US$ 1199 (Rp. 18 million).
