The Mobile Division commented on the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max phone in Egypt reaching 100 thousand pounds, in some of the sales stores that allowed it to be reserved.
Mohamed Hedaya Al-Haddad, a member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of the Mobile Merchants Division at the Giza Chamber of Commerce, said that the price currently being traded is unreal, as the official price can be known after the market is saturated with the new iPhone.

Al-Haddad explained in a statement to Cairo 24 that the talk about the price of one copy of the iPhone 15 in Egypt reaching 100 thousand pounds is due to Apple not allowing the phone to be reserved inside Egypt, as it is reserved in the Emirates and Saudi Arabia, and then made available to distributors.
The price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max 512 GB in Saudi Arabia is about 5,000 riyals, and it is offered in stores at a price of 7,400 riyals, considering that the Saudi riyal on the black market is 10 pounds, so the price of the phone reaches 74 thousand pounds, according to Al-Haddad.
The Vice President of the Mobile Merchants Division at the Giza Chamber of Commerce added: By adding a 40% tax on the phone in addition to the merchant’s profit margin, the price of an iPhone in Egypt reaches 100 thousand pounds and sometimes exceeds it.
Several stores have put the new Apple phone, the iPhone 15, up for reservation, to be received after a few days, with a minimum of two days, after it was launched in the Saudi and Emirati market.
Apple launched its new iPhone 15 in some countries around the world, including Saudi Arabia and the Emirates, after unveiling it at its annual conference on September 12, and making it available for reservation on the same day.

Regarding the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max in Egypt, the 265 GB version is available in stores at a price of 84,800 pounds, and the 512 GB version exceeded the 100,000 pounds barrier, while the price of the iPhone 15 Pro in Egypt is about 76 thousand pounds for the 256 GB version.
