TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – While Apple is facing supply chain constraints on the line iPhone Currently, a report is revealing that next year’s iPhone 14 Pro models will carry a 48 MP punch-hole selfie camera. This means that this model will be the first to come with a new design without a notch on the screen.
The new phone will have a wider-looking screen, measuring 6.06 inches for the model iPhone 14 Pro, and 6.7 inches for the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The two tallest models are expected to sport a 120Hz LG Display LTPO OLED panel and will be the models featuring the new displays.
The punch-hole design is basically a small circular cutout placed at the top of the screen cell phone to accommodate the selfie camera. This design has already been seen on many Android smartphones, such as the flagship Samsung Galaxy S21 series, and Apple looks set to adopt a similar strategy for next year’s iPhone Pro models, if these reports are to be believed.
Meanwhile, the non-Pro iPhone 14 model consists of a 6.06-inch model and the new 6.7-inch version will still have a notch and the screen will be supplied by BOE.
The article predicts that BOE will start supplying LTPO panels for the iPhone 15 series in 2023. Apple is also expected to present a revised iPhone SE model in 2022 with the same design as the current model, but with additional 5G connectivity.
In addition to the new iPhones, Apple will likely introduce three new Apple Watch models and a significant upgrade to the AirPods Pro. The three models are likely to be the Apple Watch Series 8, the new Apple Watch SE model, as well as the rugged sports edition.
The upgraded AirPods Pro will likely integrate a new and completely redesigned chip.
