iPhone 14 Pro more expensive than iPhone 13
As the start of the school year is fast approaching, details about the iPhone 14 are pouring in. With a launch scheduled for mid-September 2022, we recently learned that the standard model would simply be priced the same as the iPhone 13. Unfortunately, that wouldn’t be the case for the Pro models.
Indeed, Ming-Chi Kuo has just announced a 15% increase in the average selling price (ASP) of the iPhone 14 compared to the iPhone 13. The analyst also points out that this price increase would be due to “the higher prices on both iPhone 14 Pro and a higher proportion of deliveries”. As a result, this range would have an average selling price of between $1,000 and $1,500 excluding taxes.
If the 15% price increase is applied to the price of the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, the iPhone 14 Pro would be displayed at a starting price of 1,332 euros in France and the Pro Max at 1,448 euros ; against 1,159 euros for the iPhone 13 Pro and 1,259 euros for the Pro Max.
