iPhone 13 Predicted to Support Portrait Mode for Video

CUPERTINO, iNews.id – Portrait mode has recently been widely adopted in smartphones and is mostly limited to photos instead of videos. However, in iPhone 13 everything will change.

According to a report from Bloomberg Mark Gurman, one of the features of the iPhone 13 is the portrait mode in the video. This mode may be useful for videographers who are trying to get an out of focus background view in a video.

This portrait capability can be achieved with an updated LiDAR scanner, which can use a new algorithm to assist tracking, as quoted from Ubergizmo.

The Gurman report also claims that another feature of the iPhone 13 camera is ProRes. This is a developed format Apple more than a decade ago and is used in software such as Final Cut Pro.
