VIVA – Asus Zenfone 8 and iPhone 13 Mini is the flagship that currently deserves the spotlight. ZenFone 8 is considered one of the best compact Android flagships out there, while the iPhone 13 Mini is the smallest high-end phone Apple for now.
The two phones differ in many ways. Not only the design is very different, but also when held in the hand and the specifications on the inside. So let’s compare the design, display, performance, battery life, camera and audio performance.
Design
Both the iPhone 13 Mini and ZenFone 8 are both made of metal and glass. The two materials are implemented in very different ways. iPhone 13 Mini has a flat side all around and a flat glass back is attached to it.
Meanwhile, the back of the ZenFone 8 is not flat at all, and the sides are far from flat. This phone is actually closer to the design of most smartphones today.
Due to its curves, the ZenFone 8 is more comfortable to hold, although the iPhone 13 Mini isn’t a problem in that regard either due to its size and light weight. iPhone 13 Mini is much lighter than ZenFone 8, 18 grams lighter to be exact. It is also shorter and thinner.
Both phones are pretty slick. Chances are ZenFone 8 will slip more easily because of the curve. The iPhone 13 Mini has a rather noticeable notch on the screen, while the ZenFone 8 has a small camera hole in the top left corner.
