While the iPhone 12 product was still being hunted on the market, rumors about the appearance of the iPhone 13 had already spread on social media. Not only rumors about the release date of September 2021, but rumors about the price of the iPhone 13 design have spread widely.
From rumors, the price will not be much different from the iPhone 12. Or even the same in the range of Rp. 14.9 million for the 64GB model. This price is believed to appear because it is believed that there will not be many significant changes to the iPhone 13 later.
IPhone 13 design
Although not much, that does not mean there are absolutely no changes from the previous series. The iPhone 13 is later believed to have dimensions that are slightly thicker than the iPhone 12.
This thickness arises due to a slight change in the design of the iPhone 13 rear camera later. If previously on the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro the camera bump was only between 1.5mm to 1.7mm in size. On the iPhone 13, the camera bump will be thicker, which is 2.51mm. Even the iPhone 13 Pro will be even thicker, reaching 3.65 mm.
The shape of the thicker rear camera protrusion on the iPhone 13 is believed to be made to prevent friction from occurring on the camera lens. The camera on the iPhone 13 will be made to stand out, so that the camera lens can be flat like in the iPad Pro 2020 design. It’s not like the iPhone 12, where the camera lens looks more prominent.
Apart from the lens related, the iPhone 13 Pro camera block will also look wider and taller, with dimensions of 36mm x 37mm, the display is taller than the iPhone 12 which has a 28mm x 30mm camera block design.
Changes will not only be in the camera design. But also on the function in it, which is believed to be a little change for the better.
Such as the improved telephoto lens and also the installation of features previously only provided for the iPhone 12 Pro Max to the entire iPhone 13 range. Such as LiDAR and a more advanced and stable ultra-wide camera.
Outside of the camera, rumors also mention that the iPhone 13 may have a Touch ID sensor or an in-display fingerprint. Some reports say that this new sensor is a combination of Face ID and Touch ID.
In addition, the iPhone 13 will also be equipped with a screen low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) made by Samsung. With this screen, the display of the iPhone 13 can support technology refresh rate up to 120Hz, higher than the iPhone 12 which is only 60Hz.
