If you namely Night Shift of True Tone on your iPhone, the screen will intentionally take on a yellow tint. You can turn this function off again under Settings → Display and Brightness. Last summer, iPhone users also complained about a color cast on the screen. Then acted talk about a green cast, especially in dark environments. However, this turned out not to be a defective display, but the result of a bug in iOS 13.5. Whether the current yellow cast is also caused by iOS or whether the problem is actually with the screen, is not yet clear.
