The iPhone 12 has now been out for two weeks and the reviews are generally glowing. Unfortunately, this is not the case for everyone, because the latest iPhone also appears to cause problems here and there. Several users have already complained about damage to the housing and problems with SMS messages. The last round of complaints concerns the screen.
Already in the first week after the release of the iPhone 12 appeared complaints about damage to the case and glass on the back of Apple’s new flagships. Appeared a week later notifications of users plagued with an SMS problem. SMS group messages could no longer be displayed or delivered.
Now it appears that a third problem has been added to the iPhone 12: users of the latest iPhone reported this time that the display of their expensive smartphone causes problems.

Redditusers and visitors to the Macrumorsforum report that their iPhone 12 or 12 Pro display shows a yellow cast. Before you think that this is also the case with your iPhone 12, it may be worthwhile to check the settings first. That will save you an embarrassing visit to the nearest Apple Store.
If you namely Night Shift of True Tone on your iPhone, the screen will intentionally take on a yellow tint. You can turn this function off again under Settings → Display and Brightness. If the screen still shows a clear yellow cast, it is best to contact Apple as soon as possible to have the iPhone replaced. However, minor deviations in the calibration and color reproduction of the OLED display are within the tolerances used by Apple, according to NotebookCheck.
The good news is that all complaints reported so far appear to be isolated cases. It is therefore too early at the moment to speak of a production error, but we will keep an eye on it.
Last summer, iPhone users also complained about a color cast on the screen. Then acted talk about a green cast, especially in dark environments.
