The beneficiaries of the State Pension Institute (IPE) can apply for a loan starting next January 15 and start the procedures.
This is the last fiscal year of the administration headed by the director of the IPEDaniela Griego Ceballos, so, at the time, the loan program will close sooner to hand over the administration.
Víctor Hugo Meza Cruz, head of the economic benefits department of the IPEexplained that the institute’s loan system has evolved thanks to a process of continuous improvement applied in all areas, which has allowed a 69 percent budget increase.

“We received the program in 2018 with a budget of 296 million pesos; however, for 2023 it was closed with an assigned budget of 600 million pesos. Reforms to the program’s regulations were also implemented, which has allowed us to turn it into a “faster process and without complications for the right.”

Likewise, he highlighted that the direction of Daniela Griego Ceballos “has been characterized by a good financial and administrative management of the institutewhich has also had the support and commitment to comply with social security, by the Government of the state of Veracruz, as well as the Secretariat of Finance and Planning and the Board of Directors of the Institute.”
During the current administration 43,993 applicants have benefited -of loans- with an amount greater than 2 billion pesos.
At the same time, more than 314 million pesos are being integrated into the Technical Reserve as a result of the generated returns by the loan program itself. For fiscal year 2024, the budget is 500 million pesos.
