On the side of small improvements, iPadOS 16 will bring a feature interesting allowing applications to use part of the storage of the iPad Pro M1 and the iPad Air M1 as virtual memory. This exchange will be appreciable during demanding and greedy workloads. In parallel, the future version of the system will increase the amount of memory that an application can use by exploiting this storage available on the tablet. Currently limited to 12GB, it will be -for example- possible to upgrade to 16GB with an iPad M1 with at least 256GB of storage.
