“Today, the businessmen and workers of the country are promoting the very active promotion of voting,” Francisco Cervantes Díaz, leader of the Business Coordinating Council (CCE), said in a conference.
“This campaign seeks to raise awareness among new generations about the importance of citizen participation in the country’s democratic processes,” said the business leader after remembering that in the 2018 elections, young people between 18 and 39 years old represented 50 percent of the voter registration. electoral in Mexico, but only 17 percent of them participated in the 2018 elections.
“For the private sector, it is essential to encourage new generations to exercise this right,” said Cervantes Díaz about the campaign launched in collaboration with the Mexican Business Council (CMN), the Labor Congress and the Communication Council (CC).
