IOSPER will increase the payment of benefits for people with disabilities – Society

The Social Work Institute of the province of Entre Ríos (Iosper) granted a 10 percent increase to benefits for members with disabilities, from June 1.

Iosper Administration Manager, Arnoldo Schmidt, confirmed that “a ten percent increase was established for the benefits for people with disabilities that the Institute pays from June 1”.

In that sense, he stressed that the social work “does not have any funding assigned outside of its general budget (approved by the Legislature) to meet the obligations imposed by Law 9,891.”

Within this framework, Iosper “establishes values ​​and times from when the values ​​govern, taking into account their financial possibility and limited budget, which has as its sole source of financing the personal and employer contributions of all the public employees of Entre Ríos”, the accountant explained.

In this regard, he specified that so far in 2021, “Iosper invested in benefits for 7,155 affiliates with current CUD, 692,560,852 pesos, of which 15,012,000 pesos were paid to special schools; 10,410,030 pesos in kinesiology; 39,110,308 to home caregivers; 187,384,932 pesos in hospitalizations; 204,895,250 pesos in medicines; 113,056,736 pesos in outpatient medical consultations and practices; 62,231,374 pesos to rehabilitation centers; and 62,231,374 pesos in reimbursements (Center for therapeutic education, psychopedagogy, psychology, therapeutic companion, support, etc.) ”.

In this regard, it specified that “the 7,155 affiliates in these five months received benefits equivalent to 20.32 percent of the 2021 proportional benefit budget.”

If to the Disability Law, which in five months involved 692,560,852 “pesos, the Obesity Law (32,295,973 pesos) on Gender Identity (1,660,250 pesos), the Transplant Law for 11 affiliates ( 12,147,380 pesos) and the Law of assisted fertilization for 111 affiliates (20,134,428 pesos) speaks of an investment for 7,585 affiliates 758,798,884 pesos, which represents 22.26 percent of the proportional benefit budget of 2021 ” .
