A StockApps research Apple’s iOS system has become more popular over the past 4 years, to the detriment of Android’s market share. Nevertheless, Android still dominates the mobile market.
In 2018, Android accounted for 77.32 percent of the market, now 69.74 percent – 25.49 percent of its bright mobile devices run iOS, up from 19.4 percent four years earlier. There could be several reasons for this, one of the speculations being that Apple’s model offerings have increased and maybe even more people are buying iPhones than before.
However, due to the open source nature of Android, experts do not see the possibility that iOS will become the dominant system over time, and Android is being built by many devices and vendors, including much cheaper models than those available from Apple.
