Techno.id – Shortly after announcing the iPhone 15 series at the Apple Wonderlust event, Tuesday (12/9/2023), Apple updated its web page. If you scroll down a bit, Apple has confirmed the iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 release date as September 18.
This is not surprising, because news circulating indicates that Apple will release updates for the iPhone and iPad simultaneously. Apple is also reportedly working on a new iPad Air which may be announced in October. However, unlike the iPhone launch event, the iPad will reportedly be released quietly, via a press release.
The four iPhone models that have just been launched, namely the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will run iOS 17. But because the new phones will start shipping next Friday, September 22, so technically, the old phones will be the first to get the new OS.
